Originally from Manchester, UK – Jay Lloyds music career has spanned over 2 decades. Well known for his uplifting House sets, he has rocked dancefloors across the UK and has played at some of the UK’s biggest clubs such as Tall Trees, Yarm, Paradise Factory Manchester and Syndicate, Blackpool – not forgetting his epic sets at the legendary Bora Bora, Cafe Mambo and Eden in Ibiza. He is not a stranger to festivals, having graced the decks at some of the UK’s major
dance festivals such as Love Leeds and Planet Love in Northern Ireland.
He is best known for his 7 year residency for the infamous ‘Retroâ€
More recently Jay has gone on to co-produce and remix various records under the guise ‘Wharton & Lloyd’, which have been successful across Europe and the rest of the world. Their remix of ‘Destination Calibra’ by Alex Gaudino (Data Recordings) went on to be Number 5 in the UK Top 40 Chart and the highly acclaimed ‘Synphony’ massive at it’s debut promo in WMC Miami, was a staple tune of Ibiza and featured on BBC Radio 1. After guest slots on various radio shows he was invited to produce an exclusive mix for Paul Van Dyk’s radio station and has since featured on well-known albums such as Hed Kandi and Azuli. To contribute to his success he has been signed to major record labels such as Yoshitoshi and Ministry of Sound as well as being asked to front his own weekly Friday night radio show ‘Interplay’ on Manchester’s Unity Radio
Jay has previously produced tracks for labels Yoshitoshii & Ministry of Sound as well as DJing throughout Europe including ibiza.I play various upfront Tec / house.
